How is this different from Facebook Groups?

You get your own site with more features compared to a social network. You can also give it your own designs, name, add your logo and connect to a domain.

Can I connect it to my own domain?

Yes. After you create a community, you get many customizations options, including connecting it to a domain. The community will become available by following a link you create.

How do I split the community into categories?

You can create an unlimited number of categories from the Settings right on the community's page. Community members can create any topics and discussions in those categories.

Is there social network integration?

You can connect your social network profile and see all you friends who are already using this community.

How do I find out about new answers to the topics I follow?

You can subscribe to the topics you like or you'll subscribe automatically once you reply to a thread. You'll be notified in the notification center and will also receive an email about the new replies.
